Yandex Practicum Mobile App

A lightweight learning app for Latin America
Practicum, now TripleTen, needed a multiplatform educational app for the Latin American market. The app helped people explore IT professions through videos, articles, quizzes, free courses, success stories, webinars, and career consultation flows.
The goal was to launch a functional product quickly and cost-effectively, using it as a lead generation channel for the core education programs.

My role
I worked in an Agile team with a product manager, two Flutter developers, and the sales team. Together with local teams in Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, and Peru, we ran surveys and interviews to understand expectations in the market.
Research showed that users related better to photography than a strict geometric visual style, and that flat information architecture was easier to understand. We did not find meaningful navigation habit differences between the countries we studied.
The resulting app delivered career orientation and free short IT courses under tight resource constraints, then continued development in the department operating in the US market.
