Globoox Reading App
Reading in another language without losing the book
Globoox is a reading app that instantly translates e-books into the reader's native language. The product is built around a simple flow: upload a book, choose a language, and continue reading in a clear translated version.
The core design challenge is to make AI translation feel like part of the reading experience, not a technical feature. The interface needs to stay quiet, readable, and trustworthy while explaining what happens to the file and the translation.
My role
As a full-stack designer, I work on the product interface, website, and production-ready design implementation. The current focus is to turn the value proposition into a clear product experience and keep the website aligned with the actual app.
I design close to code, using Figma mostly for quick sketches and validating interaction decisions directly in the product surface.
The work covers the public website, upload and onboarding flows, reading experience, and product communication around translation quality.
